3 Straight Wins... Tel Aviv Sunday!

I figured since we had early practice this morning, and I have some time to kill before Passover dinner, I would jump on the computer and update the blog.  Right now things are going very very well for the team, as well for myself.  I have started the last three games, and averaged about 20 minutes in each of those games.  We have won all three of those games, including last weekend on the road in Ashkelon against a very very tough team.  They had a much different look this time around (we play every team twice) as they had a few new imported players.  It was pretty neat because one of the foreigners they have is CJ Bruton, a guard from Australia.  He was a teammate on the Australian National Team with my former teammate from SMC, Patty Mills.  After the game we caught up for a bit, and I think he was pretty happy to hear a familiar story!

This week we host the top team in the league... Maccabi Tel Aviv.  We are really excited about this game because we feel like we are playing some really good ball going into this important game.  We can use this game as a measuring stick to see if we truly are ready for the playoffs which are only three weeks away!!  The time has really started to fly over here, and truthfully, I think it is because I am finally getting good playing time!! Makes everything a lot more enjoyable I will tell you that!

Anyway, I am going with my teammate Tamir Goodman to celebrate Passover with his family tonight.  It should be a great experience because Tamir is very religious, and I am pretty interested to see the differences in the way his family celebrates the holiday.

Well, those are the updates for now, hopefully at this time next week I will be telling you all about a big victory on our home court!

Happy Passover y'all.
